50/365 Field of Yellow

 
Fields of these cheerful yellow flowers can be seen in many a field around here all Spring!

  1. i would have to pick a few for my vases... and hope my allergies did not kill me. when i was first married in 1963, i saw goldenrod and put several in a vase, not knowing the new hubby was allergic. that went over well

    We have fields of gold too - it's a crop called Rape - used to produce feed for farm stock but also rapeseed oil (sometimes called mustard oil)... not a great name for a gorgeous colourful and useful plant! YAM xx
